So I'm up baking late again, the best time to do it. Tomas is sleeping hehe. Well this week I have made so far. Two Berry Cheesecakes, a mars bar cheesecake, a strawberry and apple crumble cake, a passion fruit and lemon syrup cake and 3 dozen scones. I'm loving cooking for a living.

Well it's Christmas Eve and we have had a fun night with lots of Family, Friends and too much food. I can't believe another year is nearly gone, but how much fun and new adventures I have had. Starting with a couple of girls weekends away and then a fantastic trip to America which I will never forget. Tomas has definitely grown into a crazy little monster but a funny one at times, I do love him but two year olds are definitely challenging. It's sad to see another year gone but how excited I am for the next year and to see what exciting things are to happy.

So today was my first day of my exciting job.I made 2 dozen date scones, Berry Cheesecake and a Strawberry and Apple crumble cake. It was a bit crazy but now when I look back it was fun, hopefully will get easier with trying to manage my time a bit better with Tomas and baking, maybe a bit easier if there was a certain guy here to help, right Joe?

So last Tuesday I was baking up a storm so I could take my cupcakes down to the local cafe to see if they wanted me to supply them with my cupcakes. For a week I hadn't heard anything but today I got the phone call that they want my cupcakes and also other cakes if I'm interested. I'm so excited hopefully this is the start of my cupcake journey. :)

Summer

Well today's the first day of summer and it really hasn't started the way I expected. Today was a total rainy day, where is all the sunshine? Well other than the fact that it's been raining all day I did end up having a pretty amazing day and did everything I love. First started with banana pancakes in bed with my little Tom Tom, they were very delicious and were gone in a flash. 

So one of my most favourites things to do is go sit in Starbucks with  magazine, in the hotter months i love getting a decaf mocha frappuccion and in the colder months i like to get a classic hot chocolate. Today I decided that being the first day of December i would try something festive and go with a gingerbread hot chocolate seeing as it was a little cold, what a bad idea wasn't what i expected.

After all this I came home to do some baking, I just love it so much. Today I made Gingerbread men and Marshmallow cupcakes. The Gingerbread men went to the nieces and nephews and the cupcakes were distributed between friends and cousins. One comment made by my friends dad was "These are better then sex, you are going to make some guy really happy one day".  Well I hope you will be happy Joe?

So after eating gingerbread and cupcakes i needed to go work some of it off. Zumba is my ultimate fun workout, i could do it everyday. If you have never tried it before I say get out there and find a class, you wont be sorry.

Yesterday and today I was baking and decorating some cupcakes for the ward Christmas party. I made chocolate with candy cane frosting and also vanilla with a peppermint chocolate frosting, my favourtie was the vanilla, was so super moist and deliousious. This jut makes me want to fulfill my dream more of one day opening my own cupcake shop.

Underwater World

Tomas and I have an annual pass and love going to Underwater World, I don't know how many times we have sat through the seal show but each time Tomas seems amazed at it still. We love to go see the crocodiles and the big scary shark.

Well we have had a busy weekend, Friday was my good friend Chelsey's birthday. We decided to make our own sheredded pork Cafe Rio salad, wasn't the same but still tasted pretty good. Saturday was good to catch up with some friends and just have a fun afternoon of eatting and chatting at Chelseys bday party.Sunday we had stake conference and after i did some more baking, the fam requested some more of those yummy pumpkin cupcakes. Had an amazing weekend so happy to have great friends.

Thursday 18th November 2010

 Well most Thursday's Tomas, myself, Chelsey and Kylee go to a local play group. The kids have lots fun doing all types of activities. Painting, sandpit, bikes, play dough, obstacle courses and singing. Today at playgroup there was a special puppet show about animals under the ocean and the hidden message was about strangers, Tomas had such fun. After playgroup we came home for a swim in the pool as it was so hot, i think this is going to have to be a everyday occurrence over the Summer. Tonight we had the Missionaries come over and I made Spaghetti and also some delicious Pumpkin cupcakes, they were so good. :). Well we had a very fun day again.

Tuesday 16th November 2010

Well today was such a fun day, Tomas and I went and visited Santa at the Plaza. Tomas was asked what he wanted and of course he wants a big motorbike, don't think that is going to happen. His so excited about Christmas, whenever he spots a christmas tree he jumps up and down saying Santa coming soon. After all that excitment we went and met up with Chelsey and Kylee, Tomas girlfriend. We went down to the caloundra pool and had such fun. Really looking forward to summer this year.
